Montreal's October Sky Tops Madonna and Timberlake on Musique Plus, Interview Thursday, June 26th 5pm

    MaiMai News - MONTREAL, CANADA, June 27, 2008 - On June 6th 2008, October Sky reached the #4 spot of the top 5 most requested videos on the Musique Plus program, "Plus sur Commande" (Video on Demand) for their music video "Hit the Ground". In a follow up to this independent success, October Sky will be appearing in a live interview on MusiquePlus "Plus sur Commande" (Video on Demand) this Thursday June 26, 2008 at 5pm. Tune in and watch as one of Montreal's most exceptional indie rock bands will be seen and heard with their latest music video "Hit The Ground".

"We have received so much support from our fans for this video, and we're just going to continue working hard until we get to #1 for them" says bassist Andrew Walker.

This milestone for this Montreal band could not have been any sweeter, having topped Madonna and Justin Timberlake's video for their song "4 Minutes".

"Our director Martin-Phillipe Tremblay, producer Nicholas de Montigny and the rest of the crew were a huge part of the success of the video. Their talent, hard work, and creativity made it a blast to work with them. The energy from the crew and Martin-Phillipe's original concept really made the difference in this video, for me, from the artistic side and the overall quality.!!" Says Walker.

"Hit the Ground" is the first single and music video off October Sky's full-length album "Hell Isn't My Home", scheduled for release in stores across Canada this September. The band recently posted two new live videos of their recent packed show at the Dell'Arte in Montreal.
