A dozen workforce fired by a Chandler Pei Wei Restaurant

A dozen staff who had been fired by a Chandler Pei Wei restaurant claim it was as a result of the controversial new immigration law.

The workforce tell us they were let go after they attended a rally against SB 1070, however the restaurant claims there may be a lot more towards story. They apparently skipped out on their scheduled shifts to attend the protest.

Individuals 12 former employees want their jobs back, and are also asking for back pay and an apology from Pei Wei. They say other workforce who didn't demonstrate as much as operate had been punished -- not fired -- and they shouldn't have been completely treated differently.

They're now acquiring their protest to Pei Wei's front door.
