"Our May meeting was the best attended and had the strongest technical program to date," stated Mark K. Smith, Gelato managing director. "It was a historic meeting bringing together Gelato members and our sponsors, HP, Intel, and SGI, to discuss ways to work together to expand the Linux-Itanium platform."

Minneapolis Orthodontics Practice Ships Halloween Candy To U.S. Troops

Eisenhuth shipped toothpaste, toothbrushes and dental floss along with the candy to four units serving in Iraq.
In addition to her patients, the community got involved after learning about Eisenhuth's buy-back program through media coverage she received in local newspapers and on Fox 9 News.
"Many donors turned down the tokens they were offered, saying they simply wanted to donate to a good cause," Eisenhuth said.
"Our patients broke the record this year," she said. Last year, the practice collected more than 600 pounds of candy.
Eisenhuth was surprised to learn that many of the soldiers who received the candy and oral hygiene items last year gave them away to Iraqi children.
"It was so rewarding to learn that we gave our military personnel these items to cheer them up and they shared them with Iraqi children to help establish good will," she said.

One way to resolve this problem is to use your web browser's bookmarks feature. Bookmarks are a popular term for the lists of web page links stored in web browsers, although they are called 'Favorites' in Internet Explorer. These web browser bookmark systems have some severe limitations. For example, each bookmark list will only be compatible with a specific web browser. If you use several different web browsers you will have to manage the bookmark system in each one. Sleep Apnea is a serious disorder that affects millions of Americans. The gold standard of treatment has always been CPAP, unfortunately only a small percentage of patients actually tolerate CPAP. Numerous studies have shown that only 23-45% of patients use their CPAP on a regular basis. The patients who actually tolerate CPAP average only 4-5 hours of use a night.
Patients with untreated sleep apnea face a six-fold increase in heart attacks and strokes, are more likely to become diabetic and have gastric reflex. One study showed a 36% decrease in survival in patients with moderate untreated sleep apnea. The American Academy of Sleep Medicine now considers oral appliances a first line of treatment along with CPAP for mild to moderate sleep apnea.
