Cheryl Howard has toured and executed extensively through the United States and Europe. Broadway credits contain: Bebe in Dance just a little Closer; for the American Spot Theatre company as Zora Neale Hurston in their manufacturing Zora; with the MCC theatre reading through of Black and White as Kali; Adele in Golden Motors for the Flea Theatre. Regionally, she has starred as the Witch in To the Woods; Mazeppa in Gypsy; Pattie Mae in Household, the Audio; LaLa inside Colored Museum; Josephine Baker in Lucky inside the Rain; Miss Monisha in Tin Pan Alley Rag; and Muzzie in Thoroughly Modern day Millie. Cheryl has starred as Deena Jones in Dreamgirls in Berlin, Germany, and as Josephine Baker in Josephine: The Music, which toured during Europe, winning her a Golden Heart Award for Ideal Actress in the Music and Very best Audio. She has taught Musical Theatre Workshops for the Stages Performing Arts Academy in St. Louis, MO and holds a B.A. in theatre arts from Rutgers University along with a Masters degree in Drama from Washington University in St. Louis.
