Rocketspanisheasy better than Rosetta?

    MaiMai News - RENO, NV, November 09, 2007 - I am a 21 year old college student. I have been studying corses for 5 years now mainly just to gain knowledge rather than a degree. In the past I have studied Japanese (my first language), Spanish, and French. I had some major problems when I started Japanese. I first went to collage and took just the classes that involved these languages. That worked but worked very slowly as they teach you in semesters which take 1/2 a year to complete and you have to learn at the classes pace and not your own. Not to mention they just move too slow for my attention span. The second thing I tried was at home tapes and books. Those were better but were hard to continue with as I didn't have much reference to answer my questions or confusions. I then tried a free version Rosetta hearing great things about it. The concept was good. As I already knew a bit of the first initial language (Japanese) I was able to pick it up faster. However, the price of Rosetta was a bit extreme as I am still in college with a minimum wage job. (Studying to be a writer) So upon checking out some sites and going to many forums I finally found this site: rocketspanisheasy.com or Click Here!. This site is for spanish because but they offer many other languages.

As I already knew a bit of Japanese I found that I really had no further trouble learning the language and that the best way at my level was to delve myself in it's culture. So I did. But then I wanted to learn Spanish and French. Not knowing anything spanish or french and having a very difficult time learning the third language, as I was confusing languages, I went ahead and tried the software, audio, and text from Rocketspanisheasy.com. The way they teach you is very similar to Rosetta. They use pictures to associate you with the actions, they use text to help those who learn by reading, and they use audio tapes to help those who learn by hearing. Concentrating on images and familiarizing you with the actual language rather than trying to make you play a memory game made it easier to learn the fluent speaking ways of Spanish and French. I had a lot less trouble confusing the languages with the methods they taught with.

I appreciate this program better than the Rosetta series because it is almost exactly the same utilizing the same methods of learning for a much less price. As a growing college student I need every penny I get. But now I nolonger have to spend money on the classes AND I learned over 8 TIMES FASTER than taking the classes. I recomend this product. As I am satisfied with the rocket series I doubt I will change the product but if you think there is something better than I'd like to know about it.
