US Online Poker Blog Has Complete Update For April.

MaiMai News - April 12, 2007 - When the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act was added to the unrelated Safe Port Act last year it looked to have stopped Internet Poker in it's tracks in the US.

However lots of US based players found ways to continue gambling, thanks mainly to sites like United States of Poker which were set up just to show Americans how they can still gamble.

Now the site has announced a complete overhaul and update to bring the latest news and developments regarding where and how to play to a wider audience.

The site now features a tournament monitor, complete list of all rooms accepting US players, and a comprehensive guide showing you how to fund your players account.

Since the site was set up it has had over 10000 hits, according to Statcounter, mainly from North America.
The blog's owner , Randy Parkes, thinks that this gives a clear message to the country's administration.
" Everyone wants to continue playing, I receive emails daily from players thanking me for finding them a place to continue playing poker. I just hope that this stupid law is repealed as soon as possible and we can continue playing the game we love."

The blog shows people that it is not illegal to play poker online in the USA, only illegal for banks to conduct financial transactions with online gambling sites. Therefore a player is not at risk of prosecution at all if he plays. His only problems are finding a room which accepts US players, and then funding his account.
Luckily United States of Poker can help with both of these issues.
