German B2B Media Stats for 2005 published

    MaiMai News - BERLIN, GERMANY, May 18, 2006 - The German B2B Press total turnover in 2005 was 1.838 million Euro (plus 3.2 percent vs. 2004). There of,

902 million Euro came from advertising (plus 4.3 percent),
878 million Euro came from circulation (plus 1.7 percent) and
58 million Euro from others incl. online, events, services (plus 9,4 percent).

The sources of revenue splits as follows:

67 percent from trade / business publication
24 percent professional books, loose-leaf publication, CD-ROM's
2 percent online services and products
3 percent services and events
4 percent others

For year 2006 German B2B Publisher expected:

- 38 percent will be better than 2005 (2004 to 2005: 42 percent)
- 48 percent will be about the same than 2005 (2004 to 2005: 39 percent)
- 14 percent will be worst than 2005 (2004 to 2005: 19 percent)
