Short of Start Up Capital? Malaysian Duo Launch Interactive Fundraising Initiative

MaiMai News - February 07, 2008 - Malaysian duo, Suhaimi Abdul Rahim and Danial Idris (both 27) today launched an interactive fundraising initiative utilizing pixel advertising method as pioneered by Alex Tew several years ago.

"The idea stemmed from the need for us to raise sufficient capital without going through conventional ways such as bank loan or short-term credit, which equate to high interest rates" said Suhaimi.

Through their website - http://www.hope-in-a-million.com, the duo are hoping to raise at least USD$500,000 for their upcoming business venture.

"Currently, we are actively involve in sports and event management especially golf tournaments under our very own Wicked Teebox brand. Thanks to the support of our loyal fan base, there is now a critical need for us to grow the brand even more and start venturing further. By utilizing the trial and tested method of pixel advertising, we are now hoping that potential advertisers would come forward and join us in our quest." added Danial.

Advertisers would be able to lease the pixel from USD$0.10 per pixel or USD$10 per block for a minimum period of 5 years. As added incentive, advertisers' details would also be included in promotional materials handed out during sporting events organized by Wicked Teebox.

The next Wicked Teebox's golf tournament is scheduled on 9 February 2008 at Lembah Beringin Golf Link, Selangor, Malaysia. Visit http://www.hope-in-a-million.com to join the fundraising initiative and http://www.wicked-teebox.blogspot.com for further information on upcoming events.
