MaiMai News - February 22, 2008 - Its true that watching movies, listening to music and playing games may not be a NECESSITY in living a healthy lifestyle...but having a little fun once in a while certainly is! Let's face it, in this day and age a little "Fun" usually centers around the vast world of media, especially when you have children.
One woman took the time to write about it in a recent blog:
"...being a single parent living on one income, money is very tight. I would certainly like to take my boys out to the theaters once in a while or buy them computer games but it really just isn't feasable. I know I shouldn't, but I feel guilty that my kids don't get to do some of the things that their friends get to do."
A true sentiment that is for certain felt by people all over; In a ruled by the almighty dollar and of course the media, she found a solution that worked for her family.
